Ben's Minor Talk on Industry

The other day, Ben held an in depth talk discussing the industry in book making. It was a very interesting talk and group discussion, and I learnt a lot personally from this session.

- I learnt that in the development of a book, size needs to be taken into consideration.
Also, when creating illustrations, a bleed must be incorporated into he work, as a margin for error.

- When developing a front cover, the back must be taken into consideration, as they both share the same sheet.

- I learnt about contracting.

- I also learnt some industry terms, like vignette, and fold.
